Can I use Journi on multiple devices?

Yes, you can access your Journi account on as many devices as you like! If you’re using Journi across devices, your progress is synced so you can pick up where you left off. Journi is accessible on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Is Journi free?

Journi is not only free but also does not sell your information to a third party. Journi is funded by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

The Paths

How do I track my progress?

Journi will track your progress in each path for you and will display your progress in your most recently accessed path on the dashboard located in the My Journi tab.

How do I change my path?

To change a path, select the the path you would like to open in the explore page or in the My Journi tab and chose first step available to you. You can change paths at any time within the app but the steps must be completed chronologically to unlock them.

Can I repeat a path?

You can always repeat any path, step, or feature. Repeating a path will not reset any of the progress that you had already made.

How many paths does Journi have? Are you adding more?

Journi has nine paths, each one featuring six steps, as well as several featured content stories. As the platform grows, both in popularity and need, we will reexamine our content and increase the paths for you to enjoy and learn about ELCA's opportunities.

Which paths are right for me?

Although Journi may recommend paths that are relevant to you based on your response to the spiritual personality quiz, there are no paths that are right or wrong for a user to begin. We recommend that you try those that you are most interested in. Feel free to jump from path to path as you find new things that interest you.

My Account

How do I update my personal information?

To update your personal information, your must sign in and click on your name or username in the top right corner of the screen. Select the large blue button "update info" to change your personal information. When you have finished updating your information, scroll down and select "save updates" at the bottom of the page.

How do I reset my password?

To reset your password, navigate to the "Join/Sign In" button located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. When arriving at the sign in screen, please select "forgot password." Then follow the instructions provided.

How do I delete my Journi account?

To delete your account, please send a message to requesting that you would like your account deleted. Your account should be deleted within five business days.
